Wireless handheld computers are the newest content platform.
They can display documents and A/V files, connect to the Internet, and
serve as e-book readers and gaming stations. Advances in cellular networks
will soon enable such devices to transform the way we live and work. But
content professionals may have to transform the content.
Topics will include:
- Dos and Don'ts for developing content for wireless
handheld computers
- Converting your existing web site for wireless
delivery or not
- Open vs. proprietary formats for e-publishing
- Wireless content: wayfinding, augmenting the world,
acting as concierge
