Fear of Commitment: How to Build High-Quality Web
Sites While Leaving Your Options Open
Delaying decisions can have unpleasant consequences in your
personal life, but in software development it can be a useful skill. Clever
project teams that can embrace ambiguity not only improve their chances
of delivering on time, but also create products that are less expensive
to maintain in the long run. In this presentation, developers and project
managers will learn practical tips for nourishing a healthy fear of commitment
of their own.
Arlo Leach and Beth Larson are the Directors of Technology
and Project Management, respectively, at Type A Multimedia Network. Type
A helps varied institutions of learning use technology to educate, connect,
and change people all around the world.
